What is Wholeness Coaching?

First of all, what is coaching? Coaching is different from therapy in that it is more action oriented and forward looking. A coach helps her clients assess the status of their current lives, identify areas they would like to improve, set goals, and provides information, strategies, support, and motivation for meeting those goals.
Wholeness Coaching is a coaching approach that utilizes Integral Theory (a comprehensive model that integrates all elements of human experience) principles to effect wider and deeper change in one’s life. For example, rather than just focusing on diet, or positive thinking, or better communication, a particular challenge is assessed as part of a larger, more complex picture, which then reveals how it can be worked on from multiple perspectives. By looking at the four quadrants, which include biology and behavior, psychology and self-expression, culture and relationships, and nature and systems, a number of opportunities for growth and focus present themselves and a sort of cross-training occurs, thereby accelerating one’s growth and development.
